There is no postal service to Heaven. Anyone who wants to write a letter to God must address it to a human person, in whom God dwells.

Huh?
God surely knows the things I tell Him?
Otherwise why’d he write me to say that when I pray I should close the door behind me and do it in secret? What is the point of secret prayers no-one hears???

I think the quote is deep and meaningful. It is a call to action, very real one. God is present in our neighbors. Like the Good Samaritan, who connects with kindness with those in need.

Surely it is possible to connect in that way without disparaging the ability of God to know things that are secret?
