Seminary in Uganda is “bursting at the seams”
There’s great news and then there’s unfortunate news.
A seminary in Uganda is seeing an overwhelming amount of men following the path of God straight to them. In this coming year, the seminary has seen 48 new applicants.
The unfortunate news? Half of them had to be turned away because there were no accommodations left. There was no room left for them.
This is a “very regrettable” situation, according to Father Sserunjogi, rector of the seminary, because “priests are needed everywhere and yet for lack of space we have to turn away those who feel themselves called.”
